Electrical Engineer II (El Segundo & Orange)

Minimum Qualifications

• S. Electrical Engineering
• Minimum four (4) years’ working experience with building electrical systems
• Project Experience with Revit required
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Ambitious self-starter with the ability to work both independently and part of a team, with the drive to grow

Desired Skills

• Professional Engineer (PE) License
• Healthcare/HCAI Experience
• Energy Code Compliance
• LEED Accreditation
• Thorough knowledge of building electrical systems
• Knowledge of California Building Codes and Title 24
• Project Management experience
• Client Relationship management skills
• Ability to work in deadline driven environment

Responsibilities

• Management of projects and coordination with other disciplines
• Listen to client needs, formulate responses, and present solutions in report form and face-to-face presentations
• Load calculations and lighting level calculations
• Power system and lighting layout and design
• On-time and on-budget delivery of projects
• Quality control of work completed
• Accurate field survey of existing conditions
• Construction administration including construction meeting attendance, submittal reviews, RFI responses, and field inspection
• Short circuit, coordination, and arc flash studies
• Supervision of other trades and junior staff
