South Bay Secures Much Needed Oncology Services With New Providence Advanced Care Center

South Bay residents have greater access to top-tier healthcare with the opening of the new Providence Advanced Care Center in Torrance, CA. Imagined and designed with patient comfort at the forefront, the 106,000 SF ground-up center offers patients critical services missing in the region including an Orthopedic and Spine Institute, an Ambulatory Surgical Center and a Women’s Breast Center. The most impressive and vital element of the new AACC is the City of Hope’s multi-disciplinary cancer center which provides much needed, best-in-class oncology care for the area.

iFactor, in partnership with Providence Health & Services, served as Commissioning Agent (CxA) for the facility. Employing Tier-3 testing, our team commissioned dozens of mechanical and electrical systems across the campus. iFactor’s commissioning process provides quality assurance for Providence; assuring the building performs as Providence intended, reducing building energy consumption though identification of efficient building systems and providing tools necessary for Providence to operate and maintain the building as intended.`
